A few shots of the SubmergedArt & Cannibal Flower event by NS.

SubmergedArt started out with a great cross-section of the incredible Mear One's recent works.

Ok, at this point I had to go find the Mear and give the high praises on the new stuff, and he tells me that this piece was a
live painting that he did in two hours. In fact I believe all of these were live paintings... amazing, and that's why there's only one Mear One.

Just so you can get the scale of these works... they're not small.

Mr.NumberOnederful rockin' the ones and twos.

Ok, so let me lay this out for you if i can: there was the main entrance with the Mear work, this outdoor space with nonstop dj's for 48 hours,
a video projection on a big wall to the left (sorry, got terrible pics of that show), this outdoor market with art supplies and tees and things,
live painting to the right of this market, and behind Mear One live painting behind me (pics of that below) there's a little door which
went into the group show part of it, curated by Cannibal Flower.

So if you were thinking of taking pictures of the lovely Lola, think again.
The last thing you'll see is a wicked blur and a karate chop that'll send you on your ass, and the
next thing you'll hear is the Preston saying, "Station yo, you ok? That was crazy fast yo!"
So yeah, no pictures of Lola. Well, none that she has to know about that is.

At any given moment there were at least four or five live painters going at it on some 4 x 4 foot canvases.

And MEAR ONE!
That light is right in front of the entrance to the group show. I had to ask where the other art show was, and what I'd
thought was a bathroom line was actually well dressed loitering around the entrance to the Cannibal Flower art show room.

But the DJ was pretty live and there was break dancing going on!

All in all, the SubmergedArt show was a blast.

See you guys at the shows!
