So I was sitting with my buddy Preston before the show and I said to him, I says, "Man, I'm sick of all this photos of just art and people schmoozing at art shows business. There's just not enough pics of shoes!" And Preston looks at me and says, "Well, how about ears?" And I just sat there and thought about that for a moment or two. I mean, how profound, that in the midst of my moment of newfound clarity, Preston had once again managed to push away a cloud that ever shrouded the true vision. "Ok." I finally was able to say, "But with ears we should at least allow the possibility of shooting hairdo's too. So hairdo's are in... shoes, an ear, and hairdo's." And so we were then off on an entirely new mission in art show documentation altogether...

THE SHOES

Your favorite DJ rocks Adidas (L.Croskey as Mr.NumberOnederful)

The band... yes, Cons. I believe Vans are also highly acceptable.

Some shoes are just like "@#$%, let's just chill".

Some shoes had handbags.

And others you could just tell were up to no good.

There were marvelously comfy pink trainers

Lola chooses the comfort of retrowaders and clever socks with a purse boasting a hundred duck calls.

And some shoes were arll artsy and came with paint splatters already.

Some shoes were just cool and hung out and had a drink.

While other shoes flirted in overlit corners.

OH BONUS! A whole gathering of shoes! Oh and these shoes are making a plan, look at 'em...

Michel Waterman's shoes are in cognito as a newly finished and quite complimentary I must say - dress.

Ok, NEWSFLASH!, even though it's not shoes and I'm totally going off the script here, look... it's Etch-A-Sketch art.
I don't know about you, but in the back of my mind there's a kind of Saturday Night Live comedy-about-to-happen quality about this exact thing.
The artist's name is Kevin E. Davis and he was having so much fun with people's reactions to it and, this being his
"art show debut", as he put it, was having a blast taking pictures of people's reactions to the work.

Aw SEE how shoes are? You take the attention off 'em for one second and they want to just walk away...

I think these shoes have some stories

And these shoes are just along for the ride

My shoes are as comfy as they look. Later on, I just curled up in the right shoe and fell asleep.
(they're new so I like to just wallow in that new shoe smell for a while)

Yes, some shoes have fun leg accoutrements!

And some shoes, well, they just rule while they're nonchalantly waiting for, or just near, the restroom.
I'd say that's a rough spot to just relax or wait for the 'stroom. I mean, what if you just get too comfy and well, you know.
But then again, I believe that might have once been a white couch, so at this point...

THE EAR

I am proud to present you with the ear of Doug Murphy, also tonight known as DJ Plasticgod.
Seiously, it was hard to get through all the people grooved out on his set.
Doug's been up to no good and it's finally showing.

THE HAIRDO'S

Can't have an art party without faux-hawks. Go figger.

Finally got a shot of a double, and if I'm not mistaken, I belive we've met your shoes just a bit earlier....

Sophia Pottish does this cool thing where she pulls all this incredible hair into two very carefully into two very tightly-wound
devices which, if she so chose to do, could take out a good three to four persons within a four foot radius of her head.

Mmm hmmm, I can totally appreciate the "let's just put this all up here and go" look. Skinny brunettes are famous for this move.

This one scores major points in at least three different categories. You can choose
your own of course, but I'm giving it props in the Bangs, Color and Sass departments.

Lola, hiding in her lovely locks and her little red riding hood.

The John Michael Gill. The only cat I know that is consistently and naturally enveloped in coolness, and, that I'm not entirely
surprised to see walk around quite naturally with LPs under on arm and an ever-changing cast of beverages and smiles throughout.

Like it's North American counterpart, Sasquatch, the mythic Vikings of yore are also only available in fuzzy questionable quality pictures.

Tommy Heillefer has the 'do.

Michele and her very fast hairdo

Ok, while it's not a hairdo at all, I'm still counting this one for its character.

Impressive, eh?

Yesssss

Ah legs! I mean, shoes! Oh I'll just leave it at that...
